Hey, I'm Inke.
Triathlete, physio and performance coach, originally from the Netherlands and now based in Auckland. I've spent the last two years coaching athletes to start lines big and small, and I still race too, so I know the early alarms, the nerves and the finish-line grins. Let's get you yours.
Your coach
Why a female coach
Your body is different. Your training should be too.
Most training advice was written with men in mind, and for a long time I followed it too, pushing through weeks that felt heavy and wondering why. It took me a while to learn that my cycle had a say in all of it: my energy, my recovery, my appetite, my sleep. Once I started training with my body instead of against it, everything got better. Not just the racing. The enjoying.
So this is what I bring to your corner. A coach who knows that some weeks you'll feel unstoppable and some weeks you won't, and that neither says anything about how committed you are. We plan around it, we fuel for it, and we talk about it openly, because it shouldn't be the thing nobody mentions.
You don't need a coach to make you tougher. You need one who gets it.
